The team of five plays a set to five point against the team of three. The team of three always serves. If the team of five wins, new teams are formed. If the team of three wins, the teams stay as they are.
Passers P1, P2, and P3 leave an opening in their lineup. The server must serve towards the opening. The team of five decides which type of serve the server must use.
This example uses a team of five and one of three players, but you can still do a similar drill with three players on one side and two on the other.
