A overhead passes the ball to B. B overhead passes the ball backwards to C. Immediately afterwards, B, D, and A switch positions. C overhead passes the ball to A (who is now in the middle) and the drill continues as before.
Variations:
- The player in the middle can set the ball backwards or play it forward. If the ball is set backwards, the drill continues as described above. If the ball is played forwards, B, D, and C switch positions.
- The player in the middle can set the ball backwards or spike the ball forward. If the ball is set backwards, the drill continues as described above. If the ball is spiked forward, B, D, and C switch positions.
